Getting from the airport to the city centre

- Getting from Henri Coanda International Airport to Bucharest city centre (Piata Romana):
The charge (of the authorized taxi companies at the airport) is 3.5 lei/km- approx. 0.8 euro/km
The direct line (express) is 783. Tickets can be bought in front of the Arrivals Terminal (cost of a ticket is 7 lei- approx. 1.6 euro)
By train to Bucharest North Railway Station and then by metro to Piata Romana. In front of the Arrivals Terminal you will find buses liking the airport to the railways. Tickets can also be found in front of the Arrivals Terminal. The price of one ticket is 6 lei-approx. 1.4 euro and it covers both the train and the bus ride. The metro station is right in front of the North Railway Station and tickets can be bought inside the metro station.

From Baneasa-Bucuresti Aurel Vlaicu Airport you can either take a taxi or use public transportation (buses 301, 131 or express line 783 will take you as far as Piata Romana). The bus station is across the street from the airport and tickets can be bought from the stations.
